Emergency Care Summary

Each patient in Scotland has what is called the Emergency Care Summary set of data available to all health services. This Summary is an extract of patient information generally for use by the Out-of-Hours Services. It basically includes your name, contact details, age, current medication and known allergies. If you do not want this information available to the Out-of-Hours services please let the Practice Manager know. However it is helpful for any Out-of-Hours service to have useful information about you if they have to treat you in an emergency or outside of normal Surgery working hours situation.
